Feirman- Community Partner - Project Read - Tutor Training Part II

1.)    45 minute Tutor training with leader on the use of zoom calls, accessories to lead 

        zoom classes, suggested readings and 

2.)    Tutor tutorial on line and hard copy to be organized | administered (hard copy to be                  picked  up at RWC Library 02-12-21).  

 3.)   Tutor to set up weekly recurring meeting with student and trying to keep time and day                 changes to a minimum.

 4.)    Follow-up on breakout room protocols, white board usage, reading comprehension                      practices, learning techniques

 5.)    My sponsor is working on assigning me a student.  She will be away next week, but                  others will work on a finding a suitable march for both student & me.


Project Read is funded by the city of Redwood City, managed through the library system, consisting of a director of the program, and 2-3 paid assistants.  The remainder is manager by trained volunteers.  All individuals are fingerprinted as a requirement by the state of CA.
